It is essential to clarify that the PEC committee is solely responsible for the scheduling of the election process and determining its timing. However, this wa not within the scope of discussions between Civil Society Organizations and the Puntland Electoral Commission.
We recommend that disagreements in opinions regarding the election procedures to be addressed through constructive dialogue, striving to reach a mutually acceptable solution that aligns with the people’s will.
